When I captured this image, the colours and contrast really drew my eye. So during editing, I decided to enhance the colours and vibrancy to make the photo look like it was shot on film with a vibrant roll. To sell the film idea, I also added some grain.
Not entirely stoked with how the focus ended up in this photo, but given the nature of taking photos on the road, I recall having to ditch so that I could get out of the way of some oncoming traffic. Overall, the photo concept is neat, but it just requires some tightening up in the camera settings.
I approached this image wanting to take advantage of the foreground and use it similarly to a curtain or a window blind. I find it adds an element to the photo which is quite neat. You would think that having something blocking your subject would be negative, but I find that the eye is brought to the subject even more in this case. That's because of the colour, as well as the sharp focus.
Similar to the other highway photo, it was definitely rushed so that I wouldn't impede traffic. Slightly better focus, but I would still want to dial the aperture differently and make the image sharper.
When looking at this image after capturing it, all I could think about was that it looked like a rap cover or maybe a Grand Theft Auto loading screen. So I decided to make it black and white as well as introduce grain to it. I feel that you could stamp the explicit lyrics image from rap covers, and it would fit right in.
I took this photo in 2025 for a friend when I was trying to experiment with rollers. When I took this photo I also had a DJI pocket camera on my window recording. For a first attempt im pretty stoked.

I took this photo at a car show I went to back home. I pretty much drove my car from the autobody shop to this show and on the way I stopped at I believe a Sobeys. 5 minutes later when I came out, someone had scuffed my rear bumper in the parking lot. Fresh from the autobody shop...

Lastly, an image I took during my dealership days. During the dealership days, I started to finally properly mess around with photography. Still far from good, but it helped kickstart some progress.

The second image was taken way back in like 2021 on my sisters Canon camera. I really enjoy the way the halo looks and how prominent it is. Sadly I havent found the highest quality version of this one yet, or the photo specs yet.
This photo was taken at the same auto meet/show. This is "Making a tire look interesting", the original. I also haven't been able to find the original file for image specs yet.
I took this photo around when i started classes in 2024. I edited the image so only the orange was present. Also missing image specs for this one.
